Called A:3K - which stands for Arena 3000 - the event involves five "gladiatorial" soccer challenges which will be staged on a black pitch against the backdrop of a hi-tech set.
On 17th July, 2010 at the O2 Arena, A:3K will bring six of the worlds greatest footballers to compete and be crowned the first A:3K Football Champion. A:3K have gathered over £300 million (transfer value) of global football talent to compete in a serie of gladiatorial games of skill. The company behind the A:3K event is Aura Entertainment, as the director Terry Byrne said, "Aura Entertainment is delighted to be managing in such a ground breaking event. On July 17th 2010, we will see some of the greatest footballers in the world competing in gladiatorial style challenges, at one of the worlds landmark arenas. They will give an experience unlike any other to the fans." Aura Entertainment has partnered up with AEG Live to make up to 15,000 tickets available for this football experience on 17 July 2010 at the 02. Presale ticketing will be available exclusively through 02 priority tickets and general release sales will be available from Friday 30 April.
