The Kasabian band who have announced tour in the UK as well as marking on the Summer festival circuit in Europe. Playing four dates, they will start at O2 Academy in Sheffield on June 4th to kick off the tour. The band will debut unheard tracks this summer. The band is currently in the recording process for their fourth album and is set for an October release.

About Kasabian
Kasabian are an English rock band who formed in Leicestershire in 1999. Their first album was simply "Kasabian". Band Originally comprising of vocalist Tom Meighan, guitarist and keyboardist Christopher Karloff, guitarist and backing vocalist Sergio Pizzorno and bassist Chris Edwards. Pizzorno has also taken over as Kasabians lead songwriter since Karloffs departure. The band was formerly called Saracuse. It has been speculated that the name "Kasabian2 is taken from the getaway driver named Linda Kasabian.
The band have released three studio albums - Kasabian - 2004, Empire - 2006 and West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum - 2009. Kasabian started work on their fourth album in November 2010.
Kasabian first success waith awards was at NME Awards, winning three awards as Best Live Band in 2007 for the band, and Best Album and Best Album Artwork in 2010 for the album West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum. After the release of Empire, the band received several nominations. The band also won 5 awards out of 18 nominations
