Columbian superstar Shakira has announced UK and Ireland dates on her European tour - Earthly Delights - this Winter 2010.
The 33-year-old pop star has already performed live ahead of this year's FIFA World Cup in South Africa and also at the Glastonbury Festival and she is set to perform at the closing ceremony of the soccer tournament on July 11 2010.
Good news for Shakira fans: she's due to tour Whenever (November and December), Wherever (in Europe) later this year, kicking it all off on November 16 in France. She'll be coming to the UK on December 14 to play at the Manchester MEN, before hitting Dublin (O2 Arena), Belfast (Odyssey Arena), Glasgow (SECC), and finishing the whole tour on December 20 in London at the O2 Arena.
In addition to her upcoming Dublin concert, the She Wolf songstress will also be performing in major European cities such as Paris, Munich, Barcelona and Geneva.
The Colombian beauty, famous for her sensual on-stage routines, is set to get temperatures rising this winter when she takes to the Irish stage to sing a string of number one hits.
She will showcase material from her upcoming bilingual album Sale El Sol - due for release this autumn - alongside hits including World Cup 2010 anthem 'Waka Waka (Time For Africa)'.

Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll (born February 2, 1977), known professionally as Shakira (pronounced /and#643;and#601;and#712;kand#618;and#601;rand#601;/, Spanish: [tand#643;aand#712;kiand#638;a] or [and#643;aand#712;kiand#638;a]), is a Colombian singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, dancer, and philanthropist who emerged as a musical prodigy in the music scene of Latin America in the early 1990s. Born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia, Shakira revealed many of her talents in school as a live performer, demonstrating her vocal ability with rock and roll, Latin and Middle Eastern influences with her own original twist on belly dancing. Shakira is a native Spanish speaker and also speaks fluent English and Portuguese.
Shakira is half Lebanese, one quarter Spanish, and one quarter Italian. She was born to a Colombian mother of Catalan and Italian descent, Nidia del Carmen Ripoll Torrado, and a Lebanese father, William Mebarak Chadid, in Barranquilla, Colombia, where she says she grew up among the Lebanese and Italian communities.
After commercial flops with local producers on her first two albums, and little-known outside Colombia, Shakira decided to produce her own brand of music. In 1995 she released Pies Descalzos, which brought her great fame in Latin America and Spain, and her 1998 album Donde Estan los Ladrones? was a critical success. Since then she has gained many fans in semi-Hispanophone countries, and many non-Spanish-speaking countries, especially the United States. In 2001, and aided by heavy rotation of the music video, "Whenever, Wherever", she broke through into the English-speaking world with the release of Laundry Service, which sold over 13 million copies worldwide. Four years later, Shakira released two album projects called Fijacin Oral Vol. 1 and Oral Fixation Vol. 2. Both reinforced her success, particularly with the most successful song in the 21st century to date, "Hips Dont Lie". From October-November 2009 Shakira released her latest album She Wolf worldwide.
