The Nigeria-born singer-songwriter, who now lives in the UK, hits the road following the platinum-selling success of her latest chart-topping record, Soldier Of Love, will perform over 70 concerts in top arenas across the globe next year
Sadeû€™s last tour was in 2001 where they performed for more than one million fans across the US. Her last performance in Montreal was at the Forum on March 18, 1993.
Sade Initially announced three shows, one in Manchester, one in Birmingham and one in London as part of the European leg of a world tour. Tickets are on sale next Thursday, October 21 2010 at 9am.

Sade (pronounced "shah-day") is a Grammy-winning, world-famous English group, which achieved success in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. Their music features elements of jazz, funk, soul and rnb. Sade was formed in 1982, when members of a Latino-soul band Pride Sade Adu, (real name Helen Folasade Adu - born 16 January 1959 in Ibadan, Nigeria) Stuart Matthewman and Paul Spencer Denman together with Paul Cook formed a splinter group and began to write their own material. Later, in 1983, Andrew Hale joined Sade. In 1984 Paul Cook left the band.
Sades debut album, Diamond Life, went Top Ten in the U.K. in late 1984 and sold platinum. In 1986, Sade won a Grammy for Best New Artist. Sades US certified sales so far stands at 23.5 million units according to RIAA, and has sold more than 50 million units worldwide to date.
Sade is first and foremost a live act. Sade Adu said in one of her interviews: "When we play I know that the people love the music. I can feel it." Throughout their history, Sade have always attracted a diverse, multi-racial audience who are drawn by the bands open-minded approach to music. "And thats the best thing weve achieved."
Soldier of Love, Sades first official studio album since the multi-platinum release of Lovers Rock in 2000, was released on 8th February, 2010.
