Good Charlotte is a musical band that belongs to United States. This band originated from the state of Maryland. The formation of the band took place in 96. The name of the band is taken from the book of Children, Good Charlotte: The Girls of Good Day Orphanage. They released their first album in 2000 with the name of their group. This was the beginning of their career as musicians. There were three songs in this album namely Festival Song, Motivation Proclamation and Little Things.

After this, the band released another album, The Young and the Hopeless. This album was released in 2002. The sales recorded of the copies of this album were 4.9 million. This album made the band to reach the heights of its popularity. One of the biggest hits of this album was Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous. This song was rated at number one in rock and pop all around the world. Other songs that got popularity in this album include Hold on, The Young and Hopeless, Girls & Boys and The Anthem. In addition to this, this album got the certificate of triple platinum. The sales of this album reached to three million copies. During the time, the album was getting more and more success, this band made appearances in different TV shows. The song of the band, Lifestyles of The Rich and Famous also got the MTV video Music Award. They are still working on their albums as well as making tours and giving performances.
