About Kasabian
Kasabian is a rock music band from England. The band started from the County of Leicestershire, in the year 1999. The original members of the band include the singer Tom Meighan, Christopher Karloff who is the guitarist as well as the keyboard player. Then are the backing vocalist and the guitarist Sergio Pizzomo and Chris Edward who is the bassist. The total numbers of albums released by this band are three with the name Kasabian which was released in 2004. Then their second album, Empire was released in the year 2006. Then in the year 2009, the band released its third album, West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum. At the moment, the members of the band are Pizzomo, Meighan, Edward, Ian Mathews who is the drummer and Jay Mehler who was previously the touring guitarist in the band but is now a full time member.
After Karloff left the band, Pizzomo has assumed the position of leading songwriter in the band. The original name of the band was Saracuse. At this time, the band began recording its songs from Leicestershire. The band appeared for the first time in the public at the event of birthday of Chris. This birthday party was held at Vipers Rugby Club. Soon after this, the band changed its name. After this, the band started working on their albums and then the albums kept on releasing from time to time. The band started working on their fourth album at the end of the year 2010 and it is expected that the album would be released by September of the current year.
