About Lenny Kravitz

Lenny Kravits is an American singer and a songwriter. He is more commonly known by his stage name and is full name is Leonard Albert Kravitz. In addition to being a singer and a songwriter, Kravitz is also a multi-instrumentalist, arranger and record producer. His style of music incorporates numerous genres including R&B, rock, ballads, folk, hard rock, funk, soul, reggae and psychedelic. While recording, Lenny Kravitz handles backing vocals, lead vocals and also plays keyboards, guitar, drums, percussion as well as bass. The extraordinarily talented musician is also known for his sophisticated music videos and stage performances.

Lenny Kravitz has become the musician with most Grammy wins in the category of 'Best Male Rock Vocal Performance'. He won this Grammy Award four times consecutively from 1999 to 2000 and has enjoyed numerous singles that reached Number 1 in the US Top Singles Chart. Kravitz has numerous other awards nominations and awards to his credit including Radio Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, American Music Awards, Blockbuster Entertainment Awards and BRIT Awards. He has had made numerous tours and has appeared in many drama and TV film.

To date, as of June 2011, Kravitz has released nine studio albums almost all of which, spawned singles that topped charts. His albums have also enjoyed charting and applaud from the fans. The singer continues to enjoy fame and popularity and is still actively serving the music industry. Even though he has bronchitis that also made him to postpone his 2009 concerts for Brescia and Rome but he is very much in the scene and quite a competition for many singers.
