About Bad Company

Bad Company is an English band that primarily deals with the genre of rock. Its members had come from different English bands that broke up in the past. Drummer Simon Kirke and Singer Paul Rodgers were from the band Free. Other members of the group include the bassist of King Crimson, Boz Burrell and the guitarist of Mott the Hoople, Mick Ralphs. The manager of Bad Company was peter Grant who is also held responsible for the success of an English rock band, Led Zappelin. 1970s mark the time of the greatest success that Bad Company gained. Right after the release of the first album of the band, titled Bad Company, international fame and success became inevitable for the band and that is where the journey began.

Bad Company became to be known as one of the first supergroups of the 1970s. Where the album itself peaked on Billboard chart at number 1, many of its singles also topped charts around the globe. The second album, Straight Shooter again reached number 1 on the Billboard chart while the third album, Run With The Pack was third first album to break all past selling records and win a platinum certification. Its promotional tour was halted due to the death of Paul Kossoff, a former member of Free who was to accompany the band on this UK tour. The same tour was also to promote the latest album Back Street Crawler. The fourth and fifth albums of the band, although managed to make some place on the chart but were quite displeasing as compared to their earlier performances. They then disbanded to work on solo career and later to rejoin and disband again and again. .

Since 2005, the remaining members of the band began touring all across Europe, Asia and the US and entertained people with their old hits. They released an album in 2011 that managed a place in Billboard�s Top 200 albums.
