David Cassidy is one of the most renowned figures in the American world of entertainment. He is a singer, guitarist, song writer and an actor. However he is more recognized for his work in music industry. David Cassidy was at the peak of his singing career during 1970s. During that time, he was one of the most favorite singers among the teenagers. However he is still rated as one of the top singers and was a competitor Celebrity Apprentice.

David Cassidy was born in New York City on 12th April, 1950. He started his career by his first album; The Fig Leaves Are Falling, on 2nd January 1969. After this, Cassidy sung with Universal Studios in 1969. Thereafter, Cassidy went to television and did a couple of popular TV serials. However at one point in life, he decided to stop acting and to pay all his attention towards writing and recording songs. He kept on collecting fame internationally especially in Germany and Great Britain. Other than this, he gave some of the most outstanding performances in other countries such as UK. However, in some of his international tours, he had to face a strong criticism from the locals there for various reasons. Between 1975 and 1977, Cassidy released three of his solo albums that became extremely popular. One of the songs of �Cassidy, I Write The Song� gained a lot of fame and became a big hit. Even today, Cassidy is known as one of the most popular singers of America and is also has a huge number of fans worldwide.
