Feeder

Formed in 1991 in the city of Newport, Wales, Feeder is an English alternative rock band. Originally, the line-up of band consisted of Grant Nicholas as the guitarist and vocalist, Taka Hirose as the bassist and Jon Lee as the drummer. In 1995, Feeder released its first EP tiled, Two Colors which was followed by the release of another EP, Swim. The two EPs met with critical acclaim and encouraged the band to release their debut album, Polythene which was immensely successful and managed to grab a position amongst the Top 75 in the UK. In 1999, Feeder came up with another album titled, Yesterday Went Too Soon that reached Number 8 in the UK. It was in 2001 that the band received international fame with the release of their album, Echo Park and its single Buck Rogers. The single was aired internationally and the album reached Number 5 in the UK.

In 2002, Jon Lee committed suicide and the band was joined by drummer, Mark Richardson. Together, the trio released the fourth album of Feeder, Comfort in Sound that spawned numerous hit singles such as Forget About Tomorrow, Just The Way I'm Feeling and Find The Color. Following this, they released Pushing the Senses in 2005 and Silent Cry in 2008, both of which topped charts. After Richardson left the band, the seventh studio album of the band came out. It was titled Renegades and it remained quite successful at the charts. As of now, Grant Nicholas and Taka Hirose perform as duo and enjoy successful performances. The two are also involved in charity works.
