Elton John is a world renowned musician from England and one of the few lucky ones who have been given the title if 'Sir'. Thus, he is officially known as Sir Elton Hercules John while his original name is Reginald Kenneth Dwight. He is a singer, a pianist and a composer. The Billboard Hot 100 Top All-Time Artists had Elton John on number 1 amongst the solo males and number 3 in the overall rating behind The Beatles and Madonna.
This legendary musician has consecutively produced seven Number 1 US albums and over fifty Top 40 hits. In addition, he also gave nine Number 1 hits, four Number 2 hits, sixteen Top 10 hits and fifty six Top 40 hits. Elton John has collected numerous awards, titles and prizes including one Academy Award, one Tony Award, one Golden Globe Award and six Grammy Awards.
