About Elvis Presley
Elvis Presley is one of the most well known musicians of all time. He was born on the 8th of January in 1935 and died on the 16th of August in 1977. Even years after his death, he is still known as legendary musician whose uniqueness and musical talents remain unparalleled to date as well as a sex symbol. Born, Elvis Aaron Presley, the musician began his musical career in 1954 with Sun Records. The owner of the company was quite interested in propagating African-American music to larger audiences and saw the talent of being able to do so in Elvis Presley. At Sun Records, Presley was grouped with Bill Black (bassist) and Rock Moore (guitarist) and he originated rock 'n' roll fusing country music with rhythm and blues.
Later on, the singer signed up with RCA Victor and released the single, Heartbreak Hotel in 1956 that reached Number 1 at the charts. Since then, there was no looking back and the style of Elvis Presley had already become the 'trend' of the time. Elvis Presley continued to bring in the African-American music to his audiences, thus becoming the pioneer of rock 'n' roll music. He became highly popular for his performances alongside his music.
Until his death, Elvis Presley had released 20 albums with most of them having remained at Number 1 in charts world over. His number 1 singles are innumerable. Owing to this contribution to music, Elvis Presley has three Grammy Awards along with numerous other awards, prizes and titles.
