About Help For Heroes Concert

Help for Heroes is one of the most renowned organizations that hold charities for the UK armed forces. These forces would include army, navy and air force. The way to help the heroes of the armed forces would be to hold up concerts. The money collected by the tickets sold for the concerts are distributed among the men and women of the armed forced who are needy. The trustees of this organization are from various walk of lives. These people include CEO of Oxitec Limited, Hadyn Parry who is the Chairman of the trustees. Other than him, there is Alex Scott-Barrett who is a chartered accountant, Sir Robert Fry who is the Chairman of McKinney Rogers Group, Richard Constant CBE who has been the officer in Royal Green Jackets for thirteen years and Stephen Oxley who is the senior partner of Wilson Solicitor.

During the year 2010, this organization held a concert of Robbie Williams. Along with him, there were other superstars and the show was conducted by some of the most popular comedians; Michael Mclyntyre, Jason Manford, Jack Dee, Kevin Bridges, and John Bishop. Almost 60,000 people attended this concert and all the money collected from the tickets was donated to the heroes of the forces that were in need. This organization especially helps the men and women of the armed forced that have been wounded. The people all over the country help the organization in different ways. Some would bake the cakes and some would go parachuting while others would hold walks or go cycling in order to raise the funds to help these people out. This is one of the most trusted organizations among the people of the UK.
