About Cheryl Cole

Cheryl Cole is an English songwriter, singer, dancer and a model. She is famed widely for her musical talents and extra ordinary style of fashion. She has been much photographed and is considered to be a fashionista as well as a style icon. Her musical career began after she won a reality TV show, Popstars The Rivals and eventually formed the band, Girls Aloud with Kimberly Walsh, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding. While in the band, Nicole is accredited to have released 20 singles consecutively, that reached top 10 in the UK. Alongside that, the band released five platinum albums. Two of these albums also enjoyed Number 1 position at the charts and five BRIT award nominations. In the July of 2009, the band announced a year long hiatus that still has not ended.

Cheryl Cole went on to peruse her solo career the same year at the idea of rapper, will.i.am. Recording her first album, 3 Words, in Los Angeles and London, Nicole released it in October, 2009. The album spent 2 weeks on Number 1 and won platinum certification. Singles from the album received similar popularity and were also certified with silver and platinum. Her second album, Messy Little Raindrops simply took her to the next level. After the release of this album, she made high profile appearances in TV shows and gave them high ratings just because of her appearance.

Previously, Cheryl Cole had just been a fantabulous singer who toured with Black Eyed Peas as their opener but stole the show ending up being the main event now, she had become a celebrity. She continues to entertain large audiences and has been appearing as a judge in TV shows.
