Mario Frangoulis is one of the most renowned names in the Greek music. The most popular song that brought him to fame and recognition was Vincero Perdero. He has the ability to sing in five languages in total. The languages in which he has produced songs include Greek, French, English, Spanish and Italian. He can sing all these five languages very fluently. When he was eight year old, he started to sing in a choir. Other than this, he also made numerous performances at theatre when he was in school. In addition, Frangoulis started learning violin and learnt it for twelve years. He learnt it with a great interest and won first prize when he was fourteen years old during a competition.
The training of the music that he had taken in such a young age proved to be very fruitful to him when he started his music career. In the year 1985, Mario Frangoulis also took the training of acting in London in the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. After this, he started performing at different festivals and concerts. Although, he had never took the training of classical music, but still he got the Maria Callas Scholarship for Opera. Over the years of his career, he has produced several songs and released numerous albums. Other than this, he has made several performances in different parts of the world. He has been producing different albums from time to time however his latest work appeared in the year 2008 with the name Mario and Friends.
