Gabriella Cilmi is an Australian singer and a songwriter. She was born on the 10th of October, 1991 and at a very young age, has received world wide acclaim owing to her musical talents. The year 2008 brought her six ARIA Awards including the ones for the categories of Best Female Artist and Single of the Year. The same year, her debut album, Lessons to be Learnt was released and enjoyed worldwide success. Gabriella Cilmi has produced a number of songs that have featured in movies and TV programs and has also supported many musicians on their tours.

With the release of Lessons to be Learnt, the single, Sweet About Me managed to make a mark on UK Singles Chart and three months later, reached at Number 6. In the Irish charts, it was ranked at Number 17 while in the Australian ARIA Singles Chart, it was rated at Number 1. Other singles from this album also gained popularity but not as much as success as Sweet About Me. Cilmi's second album, Ten was not as successful as the previous one but still managed to make a space on the Australian charts and spawned a few singles that gained popularity.

Gabriella Cilmi has toured extensively supporting other musicians, opening for a few such as James Blunt and performing at various events. Some of Cilmi's most popular performances remain those of 2009 Australian Men's Final and 2008 concert for MTV Greece. The young talented musician is enjoying a high demand and much popularity which seems to be growing with time.
