Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr. was born in the city of Brooklyn, New York and his known by his stage name, Busta Rhymes. He is a rapper, an actor and a producer and his highly renowned for his ultra fast rapping talents which have given him eight Grammy nominations to date. Busta Rhymes began as a rapper with the band Leaders of the New School and released two albums with them; one in 1991 and the other in 1993. The albums were received enthusiastically but compared to all the other members, Busta's popularity was outgrowing resulting in internal problems. Eventually the group broke paving ways for Busta to begin his solo career. In 1996, Busta Rhymes released his first solo album, from which the single, Woo Hah!! Got You All in Check became the reason of his large scale popularity.
In 1997, his second album came out which was titled as When Disaster Strikes and produced super hit singles; Fire it Up and Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See. Where this album remained a platinum record, singles from his third album peaked charts in the UK and the States. Busta Rhymes was everywhere and his success became simply unbeatable in the world of rap. He continued to release albums in 2001, 2002, 2006 and 2009 all of which gained much popularity and critical acclaim.
After a series of successful album released, award nominations, controversies and fame Busta Rhymes is currently, the singer is working on his ninth studio album. The album is expected to be just as exciting and full of super hit singles as his previous ones have been.
