About Brian Wilson

Brian Wilson

Born Brian Douglas Wilson, Brian Wilson is a musician, born in Inglewood, California, United States. The musician is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and a song writer and has had a considerably successful solo career but known primarily for his works with the band, The Beach Boys. For this band, he had remained an arranger, backing vocalist, lead vocalist, main producer, bassist, keyboardist and chief songwriter. It all ended when Wilson's life took him towards intense usage of drugs and caused mental illness, ending up his career with The Beach Boys. After successful rehabilitation, the musician perused a solo career in 1988.

The year 2005 won the legendary singer, a Grammy Award for his instrumental song, 'Mrs. O'Leary's Cow (Fire)' in the category of Best Rock Instrumental. Brian Wilson has been ranked by Rolling Stone magazine amongst the 100 Greatest Singers of all Time in 2008. In the list of 100, Wilson won a rating of 52. It is a point, worth mentioning, that Brian Wilson's magical voice and awe inspiring talents in music are natural and his father has told stories of him being able to repeat melodies at a time, when even his first birthday had not been celebrated. As soon as he began speaking a little, at about the age of two, he also started singing and this used to be good enough to consider him singing.

This unusual natural talent has been honored at large, making Brian Wilson one of the most celebrated musicians of all times. He has received many awards and numerous tributes and titles in various events. To date, starting from 1988, he has released 11 albums and continues to wow his audiences and fans.
