Glenn Tillbrook is the lead vocalist as well as the guitarist of the band, Squeeze that was formed in London in the mid of 1970s. His full name is Glenn Martin Tilbrook. With Squeeze being a power pop band, Glenn Tillbrook wrote melodies for it while Chris Difford did the lyrics for the band. Along with being known as a talented guitarist and a singer, Tillbrook is also widely recognized for his songwriting skills. With the band Squeeze, Tillbrook rose to prominence whens the songs, Up the Junction, Cool for Cats, Hourglass and Black Coffee in Bed were released. However, other songs such as Tempted, Pulling Mussels (From the Shell) and Labeled with Love are also known to be the reasons for band's popularity.
Together with Difford, Tillbrook is accredited for the success of the band as all the hit songs by Squeeze were written by them. In 1982, the band saw its first breakup to reunite later in 1985. In 1999, Squeeze broke up for the longest period in its history. It was in 2007 that Squeeze reunited once again with the entire previous line up fleshed out and Simon Hanson at the drums Stephen Large at the keyboards toured the United States with Tillbrook titling themselves as Glenn Tillbrook and The Fluffers.
This group has been active as such since 2007 and has been touring around holding successful concerts. In addition to this, they have also been working on their albums and have collected a good audience and a considerable fan following.
