About Gavin DeGraw
Gavin DeGraw is an American musician, singer and a songwriter. He was born Gavin Shane DeGraw. He has had a busy career with most of his time being spent touring around and is known majorly for his songs, In Love With A Girl, Follow Through, Chariot and I Don't Want To Be. He began his career with singing around in cafes of Manhattan. It was his song, I Don't Want To Be, that got selected for a teen TV serial, One Tree Hill. This song has also been performed by contestants of American Idol, Canadian Idol, Australian Idol, Idol Norway and Idol Sweden.
Many of Gavin's other singles were featured in films and enjoyed a good amount of radio play and airing on TV. The singer continued to tour around the United Sates and promoted his singles extensively. His second album, titled Gavin DeGraw, was released in 2006. It reached Number 7 on US Billboard Chart. The third album, Free came out in 2009 but could not gain as much popularity and success as the second album did. Gavin however, continued to tour around and promote the album at large. He now plans another tour of the US which is to take place somewhere in the July and August of 2011.
His current band members are Billy Norris as the guitarist and the backing vocalist, Jimmy Wallace-Keys as the vocalist and acoustic guitarist, Tony Tino as the bassist and Ian O'Neill as the drummer and background vocalist. The musician, along with the band is expected to go a long way owing to his musical talents.
