Hayseed Dixie is a band from America and was formed in 2000. During the same year, the band released its first album named, A Hillbilly Tribute to AC/DC. The style of the music is quite only one of its kinds, being a combination of hard rock and cover versions. The original name of the band was AC/Dixie, however it had to undergo some dispute and was ultimately changed. With the release of their first album, the band was able to capture the attention of people.

In 2001, the band started making tours to different countries of the world. Since then, Hayseed Dixie has made more than 1000 performances in 29 countries around the world. During the period from 2001-2003, the band has sold more than 250,000 copies of its albums. During this time, the band made a lot of tours to the United States club circuit. Hayseed Dixie has also gained a lot of popularity in the Western Europe. This band has performed in almost every big festival of Europe. One of the most famous performances made by this band in Europe is during 2005 in the Glastonbury. During the same year, Hayseed Dixie organized its own festival in Scotland with the name of Loopallu. This has now become a yearly event. In the year 2007, the band again appeared in different festivals in Scotland and gave some of the most successful performances.

The band still continues its great performance and has released its latest album with the name of Sjt Munchs Drikkeklubb during the current year. This would be a new experience for the band as almost all its songs are in German language.
