About Michael Bolton

Michael Bolt is a singer from the United States. Other than this, he is also a songwriter. Previously the style of the music of Bolton was hard rock. However he is widely popular for the soft rock ballad music style. Other than this, he is also been recognized for the tenor/counter tenor singing. He has various kinds of achievements and honors associated with his music career. He released numerous albums, eight out of which have reached among Top Ten albums. In addition, two of his songs have been rated at number one on the Billboard charts. Among his achievements, he has received the Grammy Award and the American Music Award.

Bolton started his music career in the year 1975. The debut album that he released had the title on his own surname, Bolton. In the beginning of his career, the style of the music that represented was hard rock. He got the breakthrough in his career as a songwriter. The song through which he got the breakthrough was the one in which he assisted the writing namely, How Am I Supposed To Live Without You. This song was written for the singer, Laura Branigan. She sung this song so well that it reached at number one and stayed at the same position for three weeks on the Adult Contemporary Chart. After this, he assisted writing many songs. As a singer, his career reached at the peak during the end of 1980s and in the beginning of 1990s. He is currently working on his new album which is expected to be released during the current year.
