Kid Harpoon is among the most renowned singers of England. Other than a singer, he is a musician as well as a songwriter. Kid Harpoon began his singing career by making live performances at different places locally. The places where he started performing include Command House and The Tap & Tin. Harpoon started to become popular among the people gradually as he performed at these places. During this time, he also released some of his CDs in which some early songs were recorded. After this, Harpoon decided to shift to Holloway in North London, where he could have better opportunities for pursuing his career as a musician.

After shifting to Holloway, he continued his live performances at local spot such as Nambucca. In the year 2006, Harpoon released his first official song with the name Riverside. This song was released on a CD. Another of his song in this CD with the name It's Time got a lot of popularity among the masses and was approved by the NME. The in the year 2007, he released his first EP. Another EP was made by Harpoon in the year 2008. Harpoon has also been associated with a band with the name The Powers That Be. The members of the band include Mr. Squeaky, Florian Lunaire, Jon Jackson, Tom Bonner and Clayton Boothroyd. All these members have been with Harpoon during the early days of his career when he gave live performances at different locations. Harpoon has since remained involved in contributions to the music from time to time.
