About James
James is a musical band from England. They have their origin from Manchester. The band was created in 1982. The style of the music that they represent is rock. Although the band has been performing since the period of 1980s, however they gained popularity during 90s. Some of the hits, produced by the band include Laid, Sit Down and Say Something. In 2001, the lead vocalist, Tim Booth left the band. After Booth left the band the band became non functional. However in 2007, the band was created once again and began working for the release of an album. Along with this, they made an international tour. Up till now, the sales of the band have reached up to more than 25 million copies of its albums all over the world.
During the year 2007, the bad made extensive tours of different countries. Here they gave some of the most successful performances. Some of the most successful performances that the band made during that time include their concert at V Festival and T in the Park. In addition to this, they gave performance at Summercase and in Spain at the top music concert of Barcelona. After this, the band released another album in 2008. The name of this album was Hey Ma and was able to reach at number ten in the UK album charts. In order to promote their album, the band made the tour of three weeks. Although, Booth said that he was working on some solo albums, but still the band is still actively working on different projects.
