About Hot Chip
Hot Chips are an English musical band. The band has released four albums in total. The names of their albums are; One Life Stand, Made In The Dark, The Warning and Coming On Strong. Before the release their first album, they had released many songs that they had recorded themselves. However in 2003, they came into contract with Moshi Moshi. As they came into the contract with this company, Hot Chips released their album, Coming On Strong in 2004. In the meantime, two additional members namely, Al Doyle and Felix Martin joined the band. As soon as they joined the band, they started to work on their second album. During this time, they came into contract with different companies in the UK and the United States.
Then the band released its album in the United States for the first time in 2005. In 2006, their second album, The Warning was released. This album let Hot Chips gained a lot of popularity. This was one of the albums that were the nominees for 2006 Nationwide Mercury Prize. In addition, it was Mixmag's Album of the year 2006. Two songs of the albums were rated among the top 40 songs of the UK. The music video of the single, Over and Over gained a huge amount of popularity. The name of this song was also mentioned in the British music magazine as best song of 2006. The band released its third album in 2008. After this, the latest album that has been released by the band was in 2010.
