About Foals
Foals are a rock band from England. At the moment, for UK they are in contract with Transgressive Records. On the other hand for US, they have contracted with Sub Pop. Their first album, Antidotes was released in 2008. This album was released in both the countries the UK and the US. After this, they released their second album, Total Life Forever in 2010. This band gained a huge popularity and was the nominee of Mercury Prize of 2010.
In the beginning limited edition 7 was released by the band. These were two individual songs, Mathletics and Hummer. Their song Hummer was taken the teen drama on channel four. For their initial album, they started working in 2007. The producer of this album was Dave Sitek. The album was released in 2008 and became popular among the people. As it got popularity; it was ranked number three in the UK Albums Chart. However in other countries it was not much popular, but still it received a little bit of appreciation. The countries in which this album got popular include Netherlands, Japan and France. Then they released their second album in 2010. In the beginning, they released their introductory song, Spanish Sahara. After this, the complete album was released. This album was a big success and was the nominee for Mercury Award. They are still working on various projects and plan to release their third album very soon. In addition, they are also giving some of the most successful performances at different places.
