Foo Fighters is one of the most renowned bands of America. The style of music that they represent is alternative rock. The band began in 94. The band was formed by the drummer Dave Grohi. Before the band begun, Grohi worked as a sole member of the group and released an album with the name Foo Fighters. After this, Grohi was joined by other member that included the drummer, William Goldsmith, Nate Mendel who was at bass. In addition, the guitarist Pat Smear also joined them. They began by making performances at various places such as Oregon and Portland.
The second album of the band was to be released in 1997when the drummer Goldsmith left the band. All the drum work was then handled by Grohi himself. The name of their second album was The Colour and The Shape. After this, Smear also left the band. In place of both these members, Franz Stahl and Taylors Hawkins were inducted. In 1999 their third album, There Is Nothing Left to Loose was released. However, before the release of this album, Stahl was kicked out from the band. After this, they kept on releasing different albums from time to time. The band has received Grammy Award fro three of its albums. In addition, they have released six albums in total and all six of them have been the nominees for this award. The band is still working on different albums and the last album of the band was released in the current which was their seventh album.
