About Cut Copy
Cut Copy is a musical band that has its origin at Melbourne in Australia. This band is popular electropop style of music and it being considered to be persuaded by the new wave of 80s, post-punk and electropop. This band was begun by Dan Whitford as a sole singer in 2001. His was basically a graphic designer and a DJ. Before other members of the band joined, Whitford released his solo EP “I Thought of Numbers' and EP ‘1981'. After this, in 2003, the band was joined by Bennett Foddy, Mitchell Scott and Tim Hoey as its members. As a group, they released their first album in 2004 with the name, Bright Like Neon Love. The writer and producer of this album was the lead member, Dan Whitford.
However in 2004, one of the band members Foddy left the band. In 2005, this band made an international tour for the first time. In this tour, this band made performances in London, Los Angeles and New York. There after, the band. Thereafter, Cut Copy made many other international tours. In 2007, they announced the release of their second album; however its release in Australia was made possible only in 2008. The band has continuously made successful performances in different parts of the world. Along with this, the band has been releasing different hit albums. During the current year, the band has made some of the most successful performances in different parts of the United States such as the one in Ultra Music Festival that was held in Miami and at Indie Fest which was held in Puerto Rico.
