About Boy Kill Boy
Boy Kill Boy was an English band from East London. It formed in 2004 and did rock music. The band is best known for its single Suzie that also remained its highest charting production ever. Boy Kill Boy disbanded in 2008 and throughout the four years of its career, released two studio albums and six singles. The band began its career with the record label, Fierce Panda and released its first single, Suzie in 2005. The single gained large popularity and the same year, Boy Kill Boy got to open up the stage for Radio 1 during the Reading and Leeds Festivals. Later in 2005, Boy Kill Boy released their second single, Civil Sin, which was rated as the 'Hottest Track in the World Today'.
The year 2006 brought another single of Boy Kill Boy to be released, Back Again. It reached Number 26 on the UK Singles Chart, had Suzie re-released taking it to Number 17 and took the name of the band amongst the Top of the Pops. Consequently, the debut album, Civilian was released and reached Number 16 in the UK Albums Chart. On its release in North America, the album reached Number 11 on the Top Heatseekers Chart of Billboard. Throughout 2005 and 2006, the band toured extensively supporting other bands, headlining NME's tours and promoting their album. The band came up with its second album, Stars and the Sea in 2007, which failed to chart or get commercial success.
In 2008, Boy Kill Boy split up. Members, Kev Chase, Pete Carr and Shaz Mahmood are no more into the music scene as of June 2011 but Chris Peck has begun with a new project.
