GoldFrapp is one of the most popular pair of musicians from England. They began their career in 1999. The members of this musical pair are GoldFrapp himself and Will Gregory. Although, most of the people liked their worked and they had been nominated for the Mercury Prize but their initial album, Felt Mountain could not do well. This album was released in 2000. In 2003, they released their second album, Black Cherry. This album was appreciated among the masses. Their third album, Supernature actually made them successful artists and was able to make place in the UK Chart. Three of their songs were rated as number one in the US. In addition, at the 49th Grammy Awards, the album was nominated in 2010 for Best Electronic/ Album. The fourth album was then released and was liked by the people.
GoldFrapp released their fifth album in 2010. This album was a hit and was nominated for Grammy Awards for the Best Electronic/|Dance Album. Some of their songs that were rated in the UK chart include Ooh La La, Happiness, A&E, Ride A White Horse, Number 1, Black Cherry, Strict Machine and Utopia. In 2009, they started working on their fifth album, Head First which was released in 2010. Initially, they released, Rocket that was a part of promotion of the album. Then, they released the second song of the album, Alive. This album was a big hit and got very popular in UK and in US. They are currently working on a new album which is expected to be released in December, 2011.
